fibroblast PlasmaLift Anti-aging in North Lakes - FAQs

Plasma

What is Fibroblast PlasmaLift Skin Tightening?

Fibroblast PlasmaLift is the next generation technology for skin tightening and stimulating collagen production. It enables the skin to produce a significant amount of collagen tightening and production, especially in those areas where previously we were not able to offer effective non-surgical treatment.

Do I need a consultation?

Yes. Anyone interested in a Fibroblast PlasmaLift  treatment is required to have a consultation. Your practitioner will assess and suggest a treatment plan for you. Every client is different and the way the skin ages varies for each individual; the treatment needs to be planned according to the needs of each client. Some clients may need more than one treatment to achieve the desired result. We like our clients to be fully informed and to meet their expectations.

Fibroblast PlasmaLift in North Lakes

Is it suitable for everyone?

People with the following conditions should not proceed with PlasmaLift:  pacemaker or other electrical implants (requires doctors consent), inflammations and purulent formations on the skin within the area of the treatment, metal implants in the area of treatment (requires doctor’s consent), diabetes dependent (requires doctors consent), infectious diseases, epilepsy, keloid scarring, eczema or psoriasis, active vitiligo, cancer – chemotherapy (oncologist consent) and glaucoma (eye lid treatments). PlasmaLift is not suitable for very dark skin either because it will cause de-pigmentation. You will need to be off Roacutane for a minimum of 6-12 months before we can treat you with plasma.

What can I expect following a Fribroblast PlasmaLift treatment?

Immediately after the treatment, small, usually non-bleeding scabs, which can be covered with make-up after 2-3 days, can be seen, depending on the treatment.

In the first 1 to 3 days after the treatment, swelling of different severity may occur, especially around the eyes and peri-orbital region. After 4 to 7 days, the small brown dots resulting from treatment and wound healing have disappeared. After 3-4 week light redness is no longer visible.
